LINKS is an acronym: Love God and others; Integrate Christ’s reign and integrity into all of life; Network friends together in Christ; Kindle compassion for the poor and needy; Share Christ through the great game of golf. Links Players started in 1980 as a simple newsletter called the Links Letter. From the beginning our focus has been on engaging men and women who love the game of golf in an authentic exploration of eternal matters. We want to help initiate and advance ongoing conversation that nourishes belief in Jesus.

We at Links Players Southeast want to meet you where you are, and that is often on the golf course. We want to strengthen and support each other as well as spread the Good News in our sphere of influence. Golf and worship can go hand-in-hand for fun and fellowship. The five principles in our acronym allow people of various church (and non-church) backgrounds to come together and coalesce in multiple configurations. We who follow Jesus are as diverse as the rest of America. We participate in lots of small groups: book clubs, food clubs, playing cards, gardening, volunteering, etc. Golf is a small group activity. It is a natural fit to combine golf and worship.

We at Links Players Southeast want to encourage you to encourage each other. Expand your horizons, expand your sphere of influence, bring in new people for some golf. Then all the resources available to you through Links Players Southeast will be of maximum benefit to you and your group. We want your golf and worship activities to be natural and comfortable, not forced. Participating together in enjoyable activities is conducive to expansion of all areas of discussion, including faith.
Links Players is both a national ministry and a collection of local fellowships. Take full advantage of whatever resources we have that may be of use to you or your group. Each of us needs a little help on our life’s journey. We at Links Players Southeast want to be an essential component in your tool box and golf bag.
